Hello there!
The “about” of Pen and Ink Spot really is wrapped up nicely in my blog post here. I love to write. This site is my spot to toss in thoughts as I journey through life, travel, meet you and others, and eventually, Pen and Ink Spot will include access to my books as they are released.
We’ve published our first book, Essential Soap Making, co-written with Alyssa Middleton of Hire Wire and Heels. I am thrilled to announce that Alyssa and I have two more books in the wings, the next is Essential Soap Making with Goat Milk.
A little background: I left the office and accounting world in 2001 to become a farmer. I began making handcrafted soap. My love for animals brought dairy goats into my life, and then Annie’s Goat Hill Handcrafted Soaps blossomed. I definitely found a passion for small business. I consider myself a small business advocate, weaving small business into social media and my writing.
I will soon be embarking on yet another career, at least part-time, that will bring travelling into my world. I am excited to meet people, get out and see and experience new things, and best of all, I am eager to write about it!
As I head down the new path, with the mindset that change is good, and flexibility is even better, I keep three words at the top of my goals: share, encourage, and grow.
